There is really no excuse for the celtics if they fail to send a message to the sixers today.  We have to give them a dominant beat down that will not only help us secure the 4 seed, but leave the sixers thinking that they want no piece of us in a 7 game series.

The Cetics really need to take this game.  Philly has been reeling lately, we could essentially lock up the division crown with a win tonight.  The C's, with a win, would have a 3 game lead with 10 games remaining.  That would be difficult for Philly to overcome.

On top of that, the C's are just a better team.  With the playoffs only a couple of weeks away, we need to beat the teams we're supposed to.  Gotta build momentum going into the playoffs.

I'd love to play the Sixers in a 7 game series, that would mean that they beat the Bulls or Heat :P

Celtics need to forget about excuses and win today.  Philly is struggling and on a back to back also.  At home Boston needs to win this game.  Perfect opportunity to take over the division.  They don't deserve to win the division if they get swept by this Philly team...

Im confident we win this game Philly really exposed themselves as pretenders this year such a far cry from " philly being too athletic for us to compete" and them "running away wit the division" earlier this year lol

Spencer Hawes has been pretty disappointing since returning for Phily. Playing far below where he was before he got hurt. Only shooting around 44% from the field since he returned. Gone from a very good offensive facilitator to a player who can't score effectively anymore. Philly need to get S.Hawes going again.

I wonder if putting Jodie Meeks back in the starting lineup would help Philly get back to where they were (performance wise) earlier in the season.

Hawes struggles post-injury makes me nervous about potentially investing a lot of money in him in the off-season ... with Hawes being one of the more talented unrestricted free agents available this summer.

I'd like to see Hawes provide some more convincing play before the year is out.

If a sixer lands in your area, hold him down!
