Magic Signing Big Baby

After hearing about how much of a 'Baby' Dwight Howard is being by not being able to 'handle his coach' and demanding his firing, it makes more sense in hindsight why the Magic signed Glen 'Big Baby' Davis. Magic GM Otis Smith probably wanted DH to be "comfortable" and "feel at home" there in Orlando so he'd resign with 'Big Baby' to hangout with as the two are similar in life experienced induced maturity level.

It's funny to think that Big Baby wanted to move on from Boston so that he could be starter....If he would have expressed a desire to stay here he would be a starter right now in the place of Brandon Bass.

I, for one, was happy to move on from the BBD era and am pleasantly surprised with what a steal Danny got for him in Brandon Bass. Bass his over and above a much better player than BBD so I would take Bass over him any day of the week. But, that gets me thinking....I wonder what this team would be like if we didn't make the Bass for Baby deal and BBD was starting? I would have to imagine we wouldn't be nearly as good.

I also wonder what is going through BBD's mind as he watches Bass thrive in a starting role and the Celtics in the mix in the East....
