so why is Pierce going to the rim with 1:36 left? he should have been doing that the last 5 mins.

He didn't beat us.  He destroyed us.

Deng is killing Pierce.

He is, but it's because he's making some really tough shots.

This is where  Pietrus is really missed. He has the perfect size and length to defend Deng. Although, I'm not sure Doc would have him on the foor, late, to guard him.

I just wish we signed someone with some basketball IQ, Hollins seems like one of those guys who just wouldn't pick up a system very quickly.

Deng has made some very tough shots. There's nothing to be ashamed about with that. What has really decided this game is the stupid second chance opportunities we've given the Bulls off of their missed shots, and certainly also our terrible inbounding. There are also some plays where Celtics players instead of taking it easy and just making the simple play, tried to do too much.

Also, this team has to seriously learn how to box out properly. There is no excuse for this. They have to be able to box out better than this. Get in position and force the other team's player to push you out of the way.

10 more boards and 2 fewer TO's is a lot for the C's to overcome.

Nice to see Ray get his points in his first bench game, however.

Seems to be friends with KG. I wonder if he is asking Doc for some favors for his buddy.

Ray is super clutch!!!

A healthy Pietrus probably spends some time at the 4 in this game and Hollins is out there less.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
No shame...

This is the best defensive team in the league. Thibs is a top 2 coach, between him and Popovich.

This defense is insane. They are playing crazy good defense, recovering from double teams within milli-seconds.

Great Ray 3 though!
I like Marcus Smart

Pathetic.

Why is it our offense stalls every single time we play an active d? we can never break it down.

And I missed archer for this >:(
Back to wanting Joe fired.
