You would think we were destroyed tonight the way some are acting. This was a fantastic game by the Celtics tonight. We just lost a tough one down the stretch. We played great defense with Ray on the court, and we played great defense with Ray off the court.
Bradley played fantastic yet again tonight, so Ray's presence didn't somehow hurt the kid's game. And Ray came up big for us when we needed it most tonight. Doc is not to blame for tonight's loss. Everybody on the Celtics are collectively responsible. Some offensive rebounds occurred for the Spurs that should not have happened. Some wide open shots happened for the Spurs that should not have. Some shots missed for the Celtics that, on most nights, we would hit. That the Celtics only lost this by one is a very good sign of things to come for this Celtics team. We are playing the way we are supposed to.
