Nice effort in the second half, but we ran out of steam.

The good news is we can definitely hang with any elite team right now.  The bad news is we still go cold offensively and don't always execute down the stretch.

Has Steamer lost his minutes?
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • GOT IT!!!
Pierce iso is so low hanging fruit. That may work 1 out of 10 times nowadays.

C's really needed this one. Bring on the best rebounding team in the league! UGH

It's really sad that I have no faith in that ever going in anymore, Pierce always makes a lot of big 4th quarter shots but his shots to win the game almost NEVER go in anymore.

why do we find it so hard to go to the [dang] RIM when it is crunch time?  We always are settling for off balance fade away shots at the end with pierce.  man just drive to the rim and make them foul you!!!  it isn't that hard.  we just gave that game away.
i am p---ed.

Everyone knew what the play was, which should have enabled us an easier look.  Doc needs to run an actual PLAY.

Helluva game. Is there any doubt this team can play with anyone?
Encouraging stuff, but our old nemesis bit us in the butt.  Missed J's and giving up boards after playing killer D.
Yup

And when the last shot missed who was the ONE Celtic there for the possible rebound? Avery Bradley.

Hey Doc. Too little. Too late. Why don't you call Austin or something and find out how his workouts are going.

What was that ya'll was sayin about my man Ray?!
Your man is slow, doesn't defend, is rusty, and isn't as good as Avery Bradley right now. That's what I say about him.

Avery Bradley wouldn't have made that shot.

Basketball fans can be so ridiculous at times. They are BOTH on your team. Liking one player doesn't mean you have to automatically hate the other.

none here...only complaint is they took too much time off the clock on the last possession before calling the first T.O. should have done it right when they crossed half court

pierce vs. duncan in the half-court, I'll take that every time for my game winner

Regardless of the result ... a game which could have gone any which way down the stretch ...

I am very impressed with the performance particularly on the defensive end in the second half.

I'd love for some statistics as to how successful Paul Pierce isolation plays are, because in the last several years, they've failed on too many occasions.

Why does Doc keep on deferring to that Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing play, it doesn't work...
