Tp to the op. I sent a text with the exact same wording to my friend during the game.
Rondo and Bradley seem to be an excellent compliment to eachother. Rondo being the passing pg he is will fund a cutting bradley almost every time. Rondo is wick enough to get into the paying against anyone. However when the d collapses he is often left with kicking it back out to kg ray or pp as his best option. His other options are convert a difficult floater or get fouled. With Avery cutting to the hoop on Rondo drives the likelihood of a lay up increases.
Rondo is more likely to drive if he knows basket cutters are following to create lay ups. Bradley is more likely to cut if he knows Rondo is going to give him the ball if he's open. In the end their knowledge that both will make the correct basketball play encourages them to get something going to the hoop.
Playing with Rondo Bradley will grow as a player quicker than if he played with a shoot first pg. How much he has improved already makes me giddy when thinking about Avery as a finished product down the road. He is a player with excellent athleticism, who gives 100% on d, cuts with a purpose every time and to my knowledge gas never taken a bad shot in the nba. His shooting will confine to improve, until he is a very good shooter. His dribbling will improve and with it his ability to drive to the hoop. His ceiling is extremely high.
As for the offseason I expect us to get two bigs in the draft. Between jjj and those two I expect one of those to be in our rotation. I expect a run to be made at Kaman, Asik abd maybe another good big. I expect us to try to retain Ray to bring him off the bench, if not we'll pursue a bench scorer like Jet Terry. I expect us to make a play to bring back kg,ray, bass pietrus, steamer, wilcox and jeff green (pending health). No matter who we bring in the future is in the hands of the young and with the way Bradley is playing I believe those are capable hands.
