For me, Honey Badger fits the young man perfectly.

He is basically a human version of a honey badger, lol...fearless, active, careless, crafty...

Too early for him?

He played well today vs MIA, which was important for me.

Avery "The Glove" Bradley lol. I know the glove is Gary Payton's nickname, but it's so [dang] appropriate.

I like the thought behind "pest", but it seems a bit derogatory. Perhaps "Pesky" is better? Anyway, I liked that.

Avery Bradley has a lot of talent. That much is pretty certain. I think it's now official. He should start over Ray. Ray will still get much needed time on the court, and he will get his shots up, but we would be crazy to not keep starting Bradley. He may have some off games here and there, but he brings something so vital to this team when he starts. The numbers don't lie; when this kid starts for us we are generally a much better team.

Is something wrong with his left shoulder? Looked like it was stiff after the DWade block and he was rotating it.
I moved the cheese.

I've been on Avery Bradley as long as anybody, in the draft thread i was raving about the kid... I just don't like the Honey Badger thing. I get the reference, I got it with Brad Marchand... Avery Bradley deserves a better nickname than that.

Yeah its not good to force a nickname....sometimes you just have to wait and then something emerges....Most suggestions here are too long and unrealistic for that reason.  I do like "honey" though, because it's simple and because he sticks to the guy he's defending.
In other words scrap the Badger part and I think we're in business...
