Yesterday I watched a clip on NBA.com and Shaq was saying Doc wanted to play Orlando in the first round.

So the way it looks now the only way to do that is to have a better record than the Hawks.

6th seed gives us a better pick than the 4th seed and the same time an "easier" opponent in the 1st round in Orlando.

Indiana would be a tougher matchup, and this would put us against the Heat in the 2nd round.

I think Milwauke get's the 8th seed and face the Bulls,Sixers wins the Atlantic and Boston plays Miami in the 2nd round and get's revenge for last year.

We'll be lucky to make the playoffs with the way these last 15 games might shake out.  Brutal schedule.  It's gonna take a lot of effort just to stay ahead of the Bucks (we're currently up 5 games on them).

I'm not really concerned about seeding.  I just want this team to enter the playoffs playing their best basketball.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Well...its put up or shut up time for the Celtics.  Practice on the easy teams is over.

IF they really want to be a factor in the playoffs , the Celtics need some wins against "TOP" playoff teams .... HEAT, BULLS , SPURS ...

IF you want to be in the big dance , these are the teams we have to prove we can still beat.

The test of their metal starts SUNDAY with the HEAT. :)

We won like 5 in a row with Bradley starting for an injured Rondo. I am not really on board with Ray to the bench.

I think in order to put Ray on the bench and keep Avery starting, it would have to depend on Ray's ankles.

If Ray is healthy, he starts.

It's not like Ray and Rondo have no chemistry together.....

Could KG survive a series of DH's elbows?

I'm not going to deny that we have a tough schedule ahead, but the Bucks have a real uphill battle to try to make up 5 games with only 15 remaining (it's really more like a 6 game lead when you consider that we own the head to head match up.)

I would say that if we are being realistic, making the playoffs is a much stronger possibility than not making them.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
The Sixers' remaining schedule is not a cake walk for them either. The fact that they peaked early and have been trending downward since the All-Star break may help us. Philly also has 15 games remaining, 8 against playoff teams. The other 7 games are against bad teams, but a few of the games are against teams that have been beating good teams such as the Cavs & Raptors. That said, we need to take care of our business too, especially against the teams we'd normally pencil in W's on in advance on our schedule.
Conversely, we play 10 playoff teams, and it will be a good barometer to where we stand with the front runners like Miami, Chicago, Orlando...
Fortunately, we won't be playing anymore back to backs in the playoffs...

I wouldn't mind a matchup against the Magic aside from Howard nobody on that team scares me.

I'd take the 4th seed where we are now and the pacers first round
