Sorry for offending people for saying the word rape. In hindsight I should have said brain damage.

Anyway my main point is that what he said was either a. Stupid  or b. Not funny. I brought up Pietrus because he is sitting in the dark somewhere with a pounding headache not knowing if or when he can play again.

I hate lebron cause he he is good and threatens the Celtics. I do find it funny though that i make one negative comment about him and i get jumped on. But apparently its fine to bash his "Decision " for which he raised a ton of money for charity with.

I don't know if anyone's necessarily offended by the word "rape", they just recognize that you did what someone would call a "straw hat". You're essentially trying to exaggerate this as much as you can. I think people, for example, are more likely saying "it's not like Lebron joked about rape", so your question seems out of place.

And there are definitely some people who are just fine with you bashing his "Decision". I'm not sure where you've been the last year or so if you truly believe otherwise.

When people say things that seem preposterous, assume it is a joke and that you might just have a deficient sense of humor -- especially if it is someone you don't like and you have a tendency to demonize such people.

It depends how he talks about rape. Have you ever listened to Eddie Murphy stand-up? Rape jokes can be funny. In fact, offensive is often hilarious.

Besides, the impact of rape and concussions on a person are so different the comparison makes no sense.
