If i'm not mistaken, if the cavs somehow beat the 76ers tonight, then the celtics would take over the 4th seed?
Granted there are still 17 games left for the celtics....so we could get even better!  ;D

I'm right there with ya, checking the standings of several teams everyday.

I want to see Boston beat out Philly for that 4th seed. I want to see Milwaukee sneak into the playoffs so the Celtics can earn their second round pick. And lastly I'm cheering for just about everyone not named the Clippers out West. Lets gets some nice draft picks and get a good seed in the playoffs! The best of both worlds!

Go Cavs, Bucks, Rockets, Nuggets, Jazz, Mavs, Grizzlies.. and Celtics!

Have you seen the C's upcoming schedule?  It gets brutal in a hurry.  I highly doubt we can hold a division lead even if we sneak into one at this stage.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Was just thinking same thing.

Cavs could be a bit overwhelmed tonight with Andy still out. But I'm hoping Kyrie brings his A-game.

The Celtics can beat every team on their schedule. They just need to play their game the way they know how, and cut down on the stupid mistakes. If they do that, then they will almost certainly win enough of these games to beat out the 76ers for the #4 spot, even if the 76ers do have a significantly easier schedule.

76er's are at home after a loss... no Andy on Cavs ..... I wouldn't want to bet on the Cav's winning this one.

The Celtics schedule is hard core tuff from here on out.

It won't be easy.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The problem is, I've been saying something on those lines for the last few weeks. This team is what it is, warts and all, and their record following the upcoming onerous series will likely reflect that.

YES the celtics have a tough schedule ahead but this the NBA and its a weird year with back-to-backs and back-to-back-toback's  which means anything is possible. Philly has an easier road but still has togh games ahead like atlanta, miami, boston, orlando(2), Pacers(2), and even the bucks are decent. so thats 8 out of 17 games.....granted the celtics have tough matchups like 13 out 17(in my opinion) but WE ARE BOSTON(well Im just a fan) and we are CELTICS! I think we can edge out philly and make a run for #18. And i think if your on here, then you have that hope too! it may be small but its still there. Aint no way I am quittin on rootin on this team. They can still play just give em a lil prune juice and band-aids and they will be fine  8)

This.

We've got 3 games vs Miami, 2 vs Atlanta, and 1 vs. the Spurs, Bulls, Magic, 76ers and Pacers ... It's going to be tough.

Personally I think best-case scenario we finish 6th and face Orlando.
But more likely we finish 7th/8th and face Chi or Miami

we have a better chance getting the 4th then 6th.
Hawks, currently at 6th have a better record than 76ers at 4th.
