nice article. says he wants to up his game in boston. focus on being a better rebounder.

now, he needs to put those words into action and he will be able to help us. I'll give him a pass for last night because it really was his first time with the team, and only for 3minutes

7 foot? Check

Athletic? Check

You have the tools, now all you have to do is grab rebounds, and box people out and play solid defense.

If those are the only things he has to worry about? Why cant he succeed?

Not that I think signing Hollins was a bad move..just..

Which Celtic came in saying 'all the wrong things'.

Mikki Moore: "I'm just coming to Boston to frustrate fans with my lack of overall talent and expose myself to more 'Predator' jokes."

Patrick O'Bryant: "I came to Boston for one reason and one reason only; to let the fans know that there is a bottom to the whole 'how bad can this guy possibly be?' debate."

JR Giddens: "Am I going to be out of this league in a matter of years because of my inability to put it all together on the NBA stage? Heck yes man, and I don't regret it for a second!"

Troy Murphy: "Yep well, I'm here to chew bubble gum, and miss three point shots while never grasping the concept of team defense. And I'm about outta bubble gum."

"You've gotta respect a 15-percent 3-point shooter. A guy
like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

Truth be told Hollins right now is a better player & fit than all those guys mentioned above. I'm glad we got him & not Chris Johnson.

Im not about to write him off after one game in which he plays three minutes, however im not expecting him to be a savior for this team either.

One thing I really liked from his limited action last night was that its obvious he coachable.  He was told he needs to restructure his game to become a serviceable rebounder and on his first opportunity his shoved Thaddeus young so hard under the basket he got a tech.

I don't think anyone is saying he will be our savior...but what do the celts neeed? Size and athleticism...and he has both.

If he can really work on just boxing out and going after rebounds he can help us

...  the only thing that could have made this post better is that the bubble gum joke really should be attributed to Mark Blount.

I know he only played three minutes last night, but Hollins is at least on track to keep his reputation as one of the worst rebounders in basketball with zero. When does a player not say all the right things? I bet even Vin Baker did.
