This is my pre-nba draft 2012 top ten best picks, which goes without saying that a lot of stupid general managers in the nba will go after someone else, but these guys are my top ten. what do you think? who would you pick?

1. PF - ANTHONY DAVIS
2. C - CODY ZELLER
3. SF - MICHAEL KIDD-GILCHRIST
4. PF - JARED SULLINGER
5. PF - THOMAS ROBINSON
6. SG - BRADLEY BEAL
7. SF - OTTO PORTER
8. PF - DOUG MCDERMOTT
9. PF - ANDRE ROBERTSON
10. SG - HARRISON BARNES

I'm pretty sure all these guys are eligible for the draft this year. God save the general manager who picks Andre Drummond or Perry Jones. He's athletic, but it just seems like they don't care about playing basketball.

* I may want to throw Bradley Beal in there too :)

I dont agree with a few of those guys being in the top ten. Drummond and Jones will go in the top 12 this year based on physical gifts alone. If your a franchise in need to big help then you cant pass on kids with there potential despite the possible red flags.

MY Top TEN (dont think cody zeller comes out this year)

1. Anthony Davis (KG 2.0?)
2. Thomas Robinson (double double machine as a rookie)
3. Harrison Barnes (prototypical SF size and game)
4. Mike Kidd-Gilcrest (unique talent with leadership qualities)
5. Andre Drummond (you can teach size or athleticism)
6. Jared Sullinger (big enough to play center in todays NBA will give a team instant post presence.)
7. Jeremy Lamb (wingspan allows him to play like he is 6'9 not 6'5)
8. Perry Jones (to much potential for teams to pass on better pro then college player)
9. Tyler Zeller (7', can run, has good hands not the sexy pick but he will be a good pro)
10.Austin Rivers (his game will fit better in the pros then college, great isolation score and a safe pick because of his father)

next ten

11. John Henson
12. Brad Beal
13. Meyer Leanard
14. Terrence Jones
15. Terrance Ross
16. Quincy Miller
17. Damian Lillard
18. Arnett Moultrie
19. Kendall Marshall
20. Royce White

if this is overall i agree, if this is "For the Celtics" I'd jump Meyers Leonard up into that top 10 group. If that kid can fall to Boston it'd be amazing.

I agree to a point, I think Danny needs to lay out his top 20 prospects and see where the talent drops are. An example would be the obvious talent drop from the 1st pick to the second. Then Danny needs to see who is falling and move up to get him. If sullinger drops like Ford is expecting then he could be a prime target. I feel if any player in my top 10 falls out of the top ten then danny needs to use both pick and JJJ to try to move up and get 1 guy (hopefully also gaining an additional second because there fill be a couple sleepers late in this draft.

1. Anthony Davis
       drop
2. Thomas Robinson
3. Harrison Barnes
4. Mike Kidd-Gilcrest
       drop
5. Andre Drummond
6. Jared Sullinger
7. Jeremy Lamb
8. Perry Jones
      drop
9. Tyler Zeller
10.Austin Rivers
      drop
11. John Henson
12. Brad Beal
13. Meyer Leanard
14. Terrence Jones
15. Terrance Ross
16. Quincy Miller
      drop
17. Damian Lillard

19. Kendall Marshall
20. Royce White

I would trade Celtics 2 first round picks and Bradley and Johnson to get Davis.
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

1 Davis- Can't miss all-star prospect.  Will do all the things he does well at UK in the NBA right away, plus be able to showcase his underrated offensive versatility.
2 Barnes- Smooth, strong player with great shooting touch anywhere on the floor.  Can defend better than people give him credit for as well.
3 Robinson- Double double machine.
4 Drummond- Too much size/potential to ignore him.  Will rebound and block shots on pro level.
5 Kidd Gilchrist- Elite wing defender, will be great on the break right away.  Hope he goes somewhere with a good PG.
6 Jeremy Lamb- Unlimited potential.  Athletic/creative enough to get shot off in pros.
7 Beal- Reminds me a lot of Ray Allen in college.  Think he could be the steal of the draft.
8 Leonard- Rising on a lot of boards for good reason.  7 footer with that much ability don't come along very often
9 Ty Zeller- Cody is better prospect, but will stay at IU unless they make a crazy national title run.
10 PJ III- When motivated, looks like an absolute beast attacking rim and offensive boards.

Yeah but no team would take that package for the #1 pick. Rondo would probably have to be included to get that done. (I wouldn't do that)
