Yes, I'd give him a try.  I always wanted him, but didn't know he was going to be such a knucklehead.  Maybe he's learned his lesson.

Williams is there on assignment by Dallas, so he's not available.  He had a nice little run of a few games in Dallas when they had injuries.  I think they see him as a guy with potential if they need a cheap bench after clearing contracts to perhaps sign D-Will.

In the immediate sense (this season), does Sean Williams give you any more than Greg Stiemsma does?

I suppose position wise, Sean Williams can play the four and Stiemsma cannot. But you want a guy out there who can play the five when Bass is at PF + it doesn't really matter with KG because he can play both big man spots.

Not seeing any real added value to Sean Williams over Stiemsma.

Meh. Id hold out for better. Evans, Hickson, Turiaf, and even steamah are all better options at this point.
