I don't think Milwaukee have improved that much. Marginal improvement.

Not concerned about their challenge for a playoff spot.

Monta has carried Golden State offensively for what 8yrs now he's on a defensive team & his job description is "Scorer" & your response is marginal? Well we'll see they're 1-0 so far with Monta & have 3 days off to practice & we'll see them on Thursday...lol

The Bucks were a talented defensive team because of Andrew Bogut. Without Bogut, the Bucks are a poor defensive squad.

They rank 24th in points allowed and are tied 22nd in defensive efficiency. They are also a very weak rebounding team without Bogut and rank 26th in the league in rebounding differential.

Bringing in Monta Ellis will force Milwaukee to play more small backcourts which will in turn make them even weaker defensively and on the glass. Then add in the dysfunctional pairing of Brandon Jennings of Monta Ellis ... and yes, while Monta is a very gifted offensive player, his net value to the Bucks will result only in a marginal upgrade due to his individual and the Milwaukee Bucks collective flaws.

They also added defense and rebounding with Udoh. This kid was really starting to play good before he was traded, I think he will help their defense a lot.

Maybe ... but I wouldn't bet on it.

Udoh has been a marginal player himself so far in his NBA career (Joel Anthony-ish).

I think Udoh can become a good player but he has an awful lot of work to do and it will likely take a lengthily period of time for him to achieve that. I am extremely doubtful that Udoh can turn his game around so suddenly and be a difference maker and that missing piece for Milwaukee.

It's possible we don't make it. It's likely that we do.

Every team has a brutal schedule and we're going up against the teams we're fighting for positioning. If Milwaukee or NYC beats us head to head to take our spot or Atlanta, Indiana and Philly beat us head to head to drop our record, we don't deserve to make it.

I like our chances and I'm hoping we make it.

Look at who you're presenting this argument to? The glass isn't half empty around here, it hasn't even been filled! This team will make the playoffs and I think we'll be the #4 seed. Philly has a good team but I think this team gels and has one more run left in them. We shall see...

I don't think adding a "scorer" to a defensive team works out unless the "scorer" starts playing defense.

The Bucks don't need to improve much.

They just need to take advantage of the schedule and split games vs Boston and NYK and they're in.
