He was waived by the Rockets on the 16th. I think he's worth the minimum right now, the kid is 24 years old and still could be a rotation player at least. I think it's time for us to look at talent, no matter how much of a knucklehead this kid could be. Low risk/high reward.

Yes I know we need a big guy, but lets be realistic we aren't getting anyone that good unless Kaman gets waived and he wants to play for a 7/8 seed team in the playoffs. Thats not happening.

Let's just roll the dice with Terrence. We are not winning a [dang] thing this year, we need to look at younger guys.

totally agree, the kid has a ton of talent and can create his own shot, we need that for the second unit

Need a big. Not another 6 foot 6 swingman to bury on the bench.

Nah, we've got to go for bigs right now.  If we are interested in Terrence Williams, I'm sure he'll be available for cheap in the off-season.

I agree with you. Started similar thread yesterday. (see above)

Time to take some chances.

We need bigs yah, but we need some infusion of youth (energy).

we can still waive jo and wilcox, I mean whats the point of having them on the roster if they aren't going to play, we can get a big with those roster spots.

And honestly i'd rather miss the playoffs this year and get a decent draft pick, then watch us get swept by Miami or Chicago in the first round.

some teams like Toronto are already eyeing him, I don't think he will be available so easily this offseason, I would take a gamble on him now. We can waive JO and Wilcox, and really , there are not 3 bigs out there worth taking.

I beleive that the Celtics NEED to get this kid. This is the type of high potential player that Ainge has to snatch up when he lands on his doorstep.
