Watching this game on the Kings broadcast, and Bill Walton is absolutely obnoxious. He has a few funny one-liners from time to time, but also regularly spouts some of the stupidest things I've ever heard.

Yeah but he did point out that RObert Horry is the best inbounds passer of all time.

Is he stupid or has he just been smoking a lot of weed?  Don't do drugs, kiddies.

What's the Celtics record with Walton calling the game? Remember last year against the Suns and how obnoxious it was?

He can be extremely obnoxious, but I enjoy listening to the guy moreso than Tommy Heinsohn. Mainly because he doesn't 'defend' the Celtics with every call. I like listening to broadcasters that are very critical.

Anyways yeah, he can be overly dramatic. That's just who he is.

I hate listening to the opposing teams broadcasters. They are very talented individuals but I hate to hear my team trash talked. Even if it's craftily done. Mike and Tommy or either of the with a guest usually make it a great time.

Thank God I didn't have to watch on King's TV, (TP for your pain) ... loved Bill as a Celt, but he drives me nuts as a broadcaster, so self-involved and loving the sound of his own overly-articulate voice, throwing down big words like jump-hooks. Reggie Miller drives me nuts, too, but for the opposite reasons, trying to sound articulate by mixing a big word-or-two with double-negatives and his horrendous misuse of grammer.

Its more of a show now, Bill is a lot like John Madden neither one is like their on air persona both guys are very intelligent on their sports with great passion for the game.  When Walton first started he was smart, articulate and funny.  His smoking hasn't gotten worse since then he just does a show just like a lot of the other guys.  They all try to do something to be noticed.  I like Kenny Smith because he just talks

He reminds me of Edith Bunker of ALL in the Family TV show from the 70's
