If he isnt injured and holding out we should Leave him on the bench to rot. Dont even drop him back to the big leagues. Just let him sit there and watch Rondo play centre before he does. POS

  • It's not hard to work hard.
I'm not exaggerating, JO is my least favorite Celtic of all time.

And the really sad thing is, I don't blame him for this. He has been a jerk his whole career, he's been washed up for 4 years now. And Danny should have known it, considering he was god-awful in that Boston-Miami playoff series in 2010. But we gave him the full mid-level for 2 years?

Just for context, JO is making more money than Russell Westbrook this year. He's making more than Tyler Hansborough, Roy Hibbert, and Darren Collison combined. this was an extraordinarily dumb acquisition, regardless if he wants a buyout or not. Worthless player.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

I say wait until after March 22nd, then if he still wants a buyout, give him one, and good riddance, but he won't be able to be on anyone else's playoff roster if he signs after that date (I think that's the date).

Never trusted JO for one minute. talks a good game; but that's about it. Ainge was wildly inconsistent as a player. Gutsy yes, feisty always; but always on the edge of being in control. With all the stats geeks in boston you would think they would be able to tell him that the odds of a player like JO ever winning a ring are 0.037 percent.

Dump him.

It says a lot about JO's time here in Boston, that the story about him wanting to bolt for Miami is actually believable.
