He just said it on the c's trade show special . Danny also said he will talk to him tomorrow and a buy out is possible

seems like the rumors of JO asking for a buyout are looking true.

So let the JO hate continue . What a [edited] , quitter , front running ****

get lost JO ,good riddance

Gary and Jackie MacMullan were ripping him good

I have no problems with Jermaine O'Neal requesting a buy-out. Understandable he wants to play for a contender.

you do this when you are on a cellar dweller ,not surrounded by 3 hof players and a top 5 PG. They are playing great since kg moved to center .

so glad we will never have to see that walking injury in a c's uniform again!

jo is worthless.  He was nothing more than an expiring contract.  We failed to move him.  Time to cut him and make room for Avery Bradley to start a center.

If all it takes is a JON level of player for the team to be a contender, then it's amazing Ainge didn't give out a couple of second rounders for one.

By deciding to sign a backup frontcourt from the waivers/D-League, Ainge signaled the Celtics aren't really contending this season. If that's the case, there's no reason for a player like O'Neal to stay.

I heard that Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce requested buyouts as well so that they could go jump on the Miami Heat wagon.

He didn't play last year, and he didn't play this year, on a team with 4 all-stars. What more motivation does he need? He's a jerk and a loser. He took the MLE and sat on his ass. Was the problem that we actually asked him to work just a little for a shot at a ring?

Until we get a Kaman or Rasheed Wallace to agree. I'll keep his rotting corpse on the bench as KG backup. We may need that bosy in the playoffs.
