Well, he's not going to give up money in a buy-out if you wait that long.I'm laughing because people seemed to think JO was completely useless and would happily give him away for nothing, yet think he could be useful for the Heat.
Worst signing ever. Please find a way to get this jerk out of Boston tomorrow. Besides, it seems Danny doesn't think they need a center anyway since he made no moves. JO has taken the word jerk to a new level.
Celtics coach Doc Rivers on the trading deadline: "If we could have gotten a big, we would have gotten that. I just think this is a strange year. The way everyone is projecting this draft to be so strong, no one wanted to give up picks. And all the deals from everybody, had that in mind."

I don't get it. O'Neal can't play in Boston (for which reason again), but he can help the Heat? Is he basically saying he doesn't want to play for us anymore? Is that why he doesn't suit up?

Honestly, I just think he knows an average big man won't win this team anything, so why bother? First or second round out this year, lottery next and then who knows from there.
