  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
The Blazers waived former Celtics Chris Johnson as part of the deal. If we can't get Diaw or Kaman I wouldn't be surprised if they signed him.

Denver also sent out one player (Nene) and got back Turiaf and McGee. They are also reportedly close to resigning Wilson Chandler. Hopefully they cut some interior players that would help us.

Please post any other buy out candidates here.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think Denver had an open roster slot at the start of the day.

If they sign Chandler, they'll need to cut one player. Probably Julyan Stone.

Some people regret Ainge trading Semih Erden, but I always thought cutting Chris Johnson was a bigger loss.

Maybe the Celtics can waive Wilcox and Daniels and sign Johnson and Mikki Moore so that the Celtics can have three former D-League Defensive Players of the Year on the roster.

You would think being an NBDL Player of the year would mean something. Wow, what little impact...

If we sign him, we'll just have to buy him out too, lol. MB not a good fit in Doc's system

Well, they were defensive player of the year.  D-League MVPs haven't fared as well, but D-League ROYs have had some NBA impact with four of the last six winners being Alonzo Gee, Othyus Jeffers, Louis Amundson, and the immortal Will Bynum.

It makes me think that last year's ROY, DeShawn Sims, who rejoined Maine earlier this month after a stint in Korea, should have a place in the NBA.  Could the Celtics use a 6'8" power forward who went undrafted?

I liked Chris Johnson but Greg is a better player.  If we get another big I'd like a 6'9" or bigger vet with a big body that knows how to bang, kurt thomas sort.
