Wojo said it's a second round pick and expirings.

That's sad. We should have done that.

If it's about expirings, disappointed Ainge wasn't able to get something done.

If the Blazers like the players coming back, that's a different story. They could kick the tires on Flynn and Thabeet, can't do that on JO or Wilcox.

Do the Celtics REALLY need ANOTHER old, washed up center?

I mean yes, Camby can still contribute in spurts. But that's what we were saying about JO at the beginning of last year.

Don't lose any sleep over this.

Rockets have deal for Marcus Camby

Marcus Camby has a 22.9% total rebounding percentage while playing 22.4mpg.  For an idea of how good that is, Dwight Howard currently leads the league with a 22.4% TRB (Camby doesn't have enough minutes to qualify for the leaderboard despite starting 40 games this season).

He's old, uncapable of heavy minutes, nowhere near as good as his prime, and shooting worse than Jermaine O'Neal this season, but he's not useless.

I never said he was useless.

I just find it ironic that some of the same people begging for Camby are the ones who want Danny Ainge's head for ever signing the O'Neals in the first place.

It's the same exact move, except for an OLDER player. Not that he couldn't possibly help us, but if it did happen and Camby got injured, then people would call for Ainge's head, too. People just need to have a little perspective is all.

Unless Ainge was willing to part with Bradley, there's nothing we could offer Portland better than what Houston did.  JO and Pav?  JO and Quis?  Nobody's going to take them over the younger Thabeet and Flynn.  Maybe E'Twaun could have been trade bait but Doc would have actually had to play him for that.

"Washed up" tends to mean "no longer useful".

This move should ensure Houston a place in the playoffs. Nicely done.
