Camby and Matthews for Garnett

Matthews and Oden for Allen

Matthews is nothing special, but Oden is out of the question. He is made of frikin glass. Worst injury prone ever.
When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

I think b/c he's an expiring contract.

Rumors it's Okur, Shawne Williams, and a protected 1st for Wallace.

Basically, Wallace for a pick and expirings.

A little irked we didn't get in on that.

I'd really be pleased if we could land Camby.

Don't want to give up any substantial assets, but, he'd be a good addition.

The 2nd time in two years that Wallace has been had for such a price.

The proposed 2012 draft pick the Nets would send to Blazers in Wallace deal would be protected only through the top 3 spots, sources tell Y!

That's terrible (for NJ) if true.  Wallace for (potentially) the #4 pick?  Yikes!

Good move for Portland though.

But its still the Rockets pick right?

So its likely to be a low lottery (or higher if they make the playoffs)

I'd sure hope so.  That actually would make sense.

If okafor & kamen aren't attainable I'd welcome old amherst buddy campy, he'd be a fine backup, still a rebounding & defensive force.

Gerald Wallace traded - check.
Marcus Camby traded - check.
Jamal Crawford traded - pending?

Now they just need to unload Felton.

If New Jersey ends up with the 4th pick, I will laugh forever at them.

Yeah needed some more salary to match up and I don't think Portland has any plans to keep Oden.  Oden would have to agree since he would lose his Bird rights in any trade.

Blazers have fired coach Nate McMillan.

So, Felton and Crawford remain Blazers today, although reportedly not for lack of trying by the Blazers front office.
