OK. I am far from a trading expert but I have been thinking that the only possible way our team can get to and win in the promised land this year is the following:

1. Rondo, Oneal and 1st pick to Lakers for Gasol- Why for Celtics, Rebounding, Scoring and inside presence..why for Lakers- Point Guard of future that would feed Kobe until he got blue in the face

2. Kaman gets released and we pick him up-

3. We give the reins to Avery for PG duty. I don't think he would do as bad as you think and the drop off in assists would be decent but PP and RA would pick up slack.

Suddenly, our team now has height, additional scoring and rebounding power- Not too mention FT shooting improves overall

Can you imagine on the floor at same time, Gasol, Kaman, KG, PP and RA with Avery intermingled among them.

We could cause match up problems galore vs. the Heat and even the Bulls. I think it would automatically put us in top 3 in our conference and I believe we could win with that.

I know we lose a draft pick, I know we go into short term mode once more..but I have a feeling that squad could contend and win a title this year.

This post is my anti blow it up post and today I woke up thinking..how could we win it all this year..this is the way I think we could- Call me an optimist, call me crazy..but my green blood is dreaming of squeezing one more title out of our core this year and this is how we can do it!

Go Celtics

Don't like the idea of getting significantly older.

And no way Kaman signs here unless we are offering a starting gig. He'd get little PT with KG, Gasol and Bass compared to other places like Miami.

You think we win title 18 by playing 3 of our starting 5 out of position down the stretch?
CB Draft LA Lakers: Lamarcus Aldridge, Carmelo Anthony,Jrue Holiday, Wes Matthews  6.11, 7.16, 8.14, 8.15, 9.16, 11.5, 11.16

Three terrible ideas wrapped up in one post. Love Bradley, but NO WAY is he ready to play point for 35-40 minutes a game. give up way too much for Gasol, who I also think is great, but older and on huge money. Then we have to count on Kaman getting cut.... Not very good thought process on this...

That's not a bad trade idea, Gasol help alot, and he is younger than all three of the so-call big 3. I like Rondo but i never like him in the Celtics. Tell then How many games did this team won when Bradley was the point guard, 5-6...?.you know why because Paul Pierce was the main Facilitator. He average 8 Assist in that span on his way to the All-star. Rondo holds the ball, too much turnover, we all know he can't shoot free throw or anything else. The 2 point Guard for this team now, Ideally are Ramon Session, and Eric Bledsoe. They both can create their own shot Penetrate and pass. If you trade Rondo for Gasol, you trade Bass and others for Session and Anderson V. and you won't evern need Kaman.

I was thinking more like Kaman at Center, KG at PF, Pierce and Ray in their usual positions and Avery at the point. Then, we can mix and match Gasol for Kaman/KG.

He said crazy path.

Wait until you see my Crazy idea on how to blow it up- ;D
