Would you agree? This Chris Wilcox incident seals it for me.
2009-KG's knee goes out and kills our title chances. All other injuries that happened this year really don't matter to me because this one is the killer.

2010-KG's still suffering from this but toughs it out
        -Glen Davis breaks his thumb being an idiot.
        -Sheed hurts his back in Orlando series. If we sweep the Magic this injury doesn't happen
        -Ray Allen bruised thigh in game 3 (I understand if you don't count this one but i do)
        -Kendrick Perkins tears his knee up in game 6.

2011-Shaq injures his calf/achilles and is never the same. Would have been a huge help
         -Quis goes down in that nasty neck accident. maybe this could have affected 'the trade'
         -Jermaine O'neal barely plays a game without tweaking something. plays 24 games
         -Delonte West misses almost 3/4 of the season. I say even with all the other injuries we         had if D-West could've played even just half or 3/4 of the season, he could've had enough positive impact to have a record slightly better than the Bulls.
         -Rajon Rondo gets his elbow bent backwards by Dwyane Wade, guaranteeing that Boston had no chance of advancing past the Heat

2012-Jeff Green, before we even play a single game, goes out with a heart problem. Green would have made such a huge difference to this team after a full year with the c's and a training camp in my opinion and we never even got to sniff it
        -Jermaine O'neal, as usual is a regular on the disabled list
        -Chris Wilcox, one of our only big men left goes out with heart problem just like Jeff Green.
 
I know i missed some but this track record of injuries can easily match anybody's in the league. The only team i can think that probably makes a better argument than us is the Blazers. But that would've ruined my thread title so I'll go with the C's. Also I think the timing of our injuries is more 'unlucky' then those of the Blazers.

We've been injury-prone because we have a lot of old players (Big 3, JO, Sheed, Shaq, etc.), and have signed a lot of injury-prone younger players (Quis, Delonte). It's not all that surprising.

Honestly, I think Danny's biggest systematic mistake during the Big 3 era has been gambling on bench guys that are not likely to be durable. Better to sign lesser talent that can be counted on for a full season...

The Green and Wilcox ailments are a coincidence, I'll give you that.

I used to think it was age too but have you seen what they're doing in Phoenix? Grant Hill and Steve Nash are both in excellent condition. Their medical staff is amazing. I wish we could swap ours with theirs.

Houston with Yao and T Mac had some bad injury issues, but I agree us and Portland have had the worst.

In fact since we actually had our team for one complete season and playoff run I got to say Portland has been worse. Especially if you include the fact we won it all.

we have only 3 players who haven't been out with an injury this year and it's because they don't play... quis, JJJ, and moore!! Sad but true! Pavs, Dooling, Green, Cox, Ray, KG, PP, Pietrus, RR, Bradley, Bass, and Jo have all been out for an injury (most have missed multiple games)... I know I didn't mention Stiems but he would be out too if we didn't need him DESPERATELY, he is playing through a bad ankle and doing it very well!!

Blazers. Timing is kind of irrelevant when 2 of your top 3 players are basically suffering career ending injuries. And, that's if you buy that Aldridge now is better than Roy or Odom 'could've been'..which I don't. Brandon Roy 2 years ago (or is it 3 now?) was better than Aldridge is now.
