the C's don't have to deal with the whole "superstar" drama that other teams have been going through.

From LeBron to DWill to Melo to Dwight....it's kinda hard to build any sense of team when you go through something like that just not knowing if your star player is actually on the same page as the rest of the team.

I know we had a few blips with Toine and Pierce but nothing comparable to what's been going on right now.

I doubt we will have to deal with that much longer. Rose, Durant, Love, Griffin, Irving and other 23 and younger stars are taking over the NBA. The era of Howard, Lebron, Melo, and Deron wont get a huge window to shine because the 1995-98 draft classes were so stacked they have been dominating for the past decade and a half. (Duncan, Kobe, KG, Ray, Paul, Dirk, and others) So I feel like by the time its "time" for The championships to be dominated by the 03-05 draft stars, the 07-11 stars will be way to good to let them have their own time.

Honestly, I agree with the sentiment, but how did Deron get thrown into this?  Because of his disagreement with Sloan?

Pretty much.

The guy whether indirectly or directly got Sloan ousted out of Utah and then he himself gets traded away because he wanted to play in a bigger market.

I don't know I guess when you're not winning it can affect you greatly but you still have to be professional is all I'm saying.

KG spent years in futility in Minny but he kept plugging away and preparing hard like he always does.

You don't do what Howard and Melo do and handcuff your organization just because you're stuck in a situation you don't like or don't prefer....it doesn't help anyone.

I don't think Deron's motive was to play in a bigger market. I think Utah recognized that there was friction there and that he likely wouldn't resign.

New Jersey presented the most appealling trade offer (Harris, Favors.)

I could be wrong, but I don't remember Williams "targetting" the Nets.
"      “I can make a trade every day if I want to, but that's not going to help us. A trade that would get us better rarely comes along. They're very difficult to find. Good trades are very difficult in our league and don't happen very often.”
