Portland's talks with Minnesota for Jamal Crawford are part of a 3-way scenario with Lakers, source says. Michael Beasley would go to LA.

Ridnour to Portland too, I'm guessing.

Would Felton also be heading out to LA?

This kinda works, not sure portland does it

Lal sends: McRoberts and Blake and 1st rd pick
Lal get  : Beasley

Por sends: Crawford
gets     : Blake, McRoberts and 1st

Min sends: Beasley
Min gets : Crawford

Maybe LAL gets ridnour back if they move more salary

Ugh. I wanted Beasley in Green. Trade deadline time is really the worst time of year for C's fans.

How about this trade?

LA trade a 1st  (along with the trade exception)

Recieves Beasley

Portland trade Felton and Crawford

Meh, I don't see what all the big hype with Beasley is. Even ignoring his off-court issues (which I actually don't think are that big of a deal), he is just a poor man's Monta Ellis at a different position.

Finally, Los Angeles gets that ball stopping swing man they've so desperately needed.

Portland does cartwheels. I'm sure they'd happily take Steve Blake back from LA too, if the Lakers need to send out a little payroll.

No, they don't.  They have the Trade Exception from when they traded Odom to Dallas.  It is enough to cover Beasley.

Not to mention, Felton makes for a good one year replacement for Rubio to keep the T-Wolves playoffs hopes alive.

They do have the TE. But the Odom trade was about financial relief. Adding Beasley's salary back makes their luxury tax payment shoot up again. Sending out a little salary in Blake might be something they'd want to do, not need to do.

I can't see LA doing this unless they have another deal worked out where they're getting a PG.

I can't see LA doing this because Pau Gasol will throw himself off the top of the Staple Center 3 games into the Bryant-Beasley era.

That made me laugh. TP.
