i really do hope we can get him on draft night he reminds me of Paul George a little and he's what this team needs.

Definitely one of the guys from this draft that I would love to see Danny pick. Athleticism + Shooting is always a great combo in a wing. It pretty much guarantees that a guy will stick around in the league.

Ross is OK. But i guess James McAdoo will be available. Maybe Austin Rivers. Or Terrence Jones. Various sites have this 3 players in our range 15-18 pick. With the Clippers pick i would love Fab Melo from the Orange. 7 feet tall. Nasty defender. Athletic. And...by the way.. brazilian! :)

I have to admit I'm very wary of drafting Rivers. I just think his size and defense will limit him in the NBA. I think he's going to be a smaller O.J. Mayo. I like Ross' potential moving forward and his fit alongside Rondo.

Austin is clutch. Is 6'4. But is young. Can grow a inch. And is a GREAT shooter. And has "pedigree" also... :)

Kinda like Gerald Green...or Greg Minor, Joe Forte, etc...there are never any guarantees...

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Ross would be a good shooting guard.
He plays small forward in college but he really doesn't put the ball on the floor like Pierce or Joe Johnson (successful/superstar small forwards we have drafted in last 10 years).

I want to see him create off the dribble before I'm sold.
Nice catch and shoot player and can rebound.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Lamb and Moultrie would satisfy me in the first.

Which Lamb, because I want nothing to do with Doron. But I completely agree with Jeremy and Arnett Moultrie. Doubt we can have them both.

By the way, has anyone seen Bernard James from FSU play. I like him. He's has relentless effort on the boards. Not really athletic and I think he's reached his peak (he's already 27), but we could use a bruiser like that. 6'10'' 240, big body. 2nd round pick?

Either way, Terrence Ross is also great option. Good shooter, puts effort on defense unlike Jeremy Lamb. Maybe a little more athletic. But potentially good prospects like that don't normally go past the 10th to 12th pick. Hoping he drops to us then pick either Moultrie, Yancy Gates (another bruiser) or Andrew Nicholson. And if he leaves early, Jordan Henriquez from KSU. Then Bernard James for the 2nd round pick.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

It's not just about his height, he's very thin.  Usually your smaller two guards who succeed have a little meat on them.  Eric Gordon is a good example, he's only 6'3, but he's got the muscle where he can push the 6'5-6'6 guys around.  Rivers doesn't have that.  The other thing with Rivers, is he doesn't have a position.  He's a Monta Ellis type player.  He's a two guard who needs the ball in his hands to succeed.  Also hitting one game winner doesn't mean he's clutch.  He's had some poor games against good competition this year.  He's also far from a great shooter, he was very inconsistent with the outside shot this year.  Basically, he needs another year at the least at Duke.  The potential is there, but the only great thing he does right now is attack the rim.  Other then that everything he does is inconsistent.
do it

Yeah, I'm talking Jeremy.  I'd like Meyers Leonard, too, if either the C's or the Clips can start losing enough for them to get him.  IMO if Danny could get Leonard and Moultrie in this draft he'd be forgiven for the Giddens pick and more.

One of Doc's and the team's coaching strengths is getting players to play team defense, so I can live with a little underdevelopment in that aspect as long as they've got the tools required.

Ross would be a good selection with our own pick.  I am hoping for Royce White, but think the 4 players we should be looking at are (in no particular order); Quincy Miller,  Terrence Ross, Moe Harkless, and Royce White.  Royce White is probably the most talented but has some mental issues I might be a little wary of.  Any of those four would be a good pick though.

Ross had 32 points a few nights ago in the NIT. It was the first live game of his I've watched, but it looked like a youtube highlight video.

Reeaaalll promising all around game. He plays tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 9 pm. Good chance to check out Tony Wroten as well.

If it came down to Moultrie or Ross, that would be a really hard decision, but I'd probably go with Moultrie.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
