He's not happy about this loss -- not happy about the rest of the team not picking up the slack when Rondo tires out...

Yeah, watched the post-game show on CSNNE, and Tommy was ripped at Gary and especially Donny for making a big deal about the sunglasses, and not about how important Rondo is, and how he is the core of this team, (and the future).

Some may think Tommy was blowing smoke, but I loved it! I like Donny OK, but I get sick of how he loves the sound of his own voice, and how he thinks he's the big "insider" and best buddy of all the vet players.

Heinsohn put him in his place today, and it was just what I needed after that painful loss.

A Tommy Point for Tommy ... bleed green, Buddy!

Tommy H. is my hero. He knows what he talks about, unlike most of people in the media. And he has celtics pride.

I also love the Rondo to Cousy comparison coming from him, and I hope Danny and my fellow celticbloggers listen to him.

Danny, get the knucklehead twins from the Wizards for the Clippers' pick. We need big kids who can run with Rondo.

I don't like Donny at all.   He has the charisma of a dead fish.  I would rather see Cedric in that role.

agreed, marshall is smug and seems to think he needs to remind us he played pro and went to uconn, he was a career nothing special guy
I've noticed Tommy zing him before I don't think there is any love loss between them.  Bring in Max.  Wish they would loose gary & felger at the same time.

Anyone who cares to see real Tommy do games watch some nba old games when he used to do games for cbs I think it was.  He's not a homer, knows basketball.

I enjoy his commentary for the most part, because he is knowledgeable. Mike acts like he has no idea and he's just baby sitting Tommy. Tommy's bias is incredibly pathetic at times.

My definition of homer is different I guess.  Is tommy biased?  painfully, you can hear him trying to make up excuses on calls etc.
I feel homer is blind no understanding go team thing.  If its knowledge and ultimate biased opinion then yes he is. great coach

I see, I was a bit confused and that makes sense- you are right that's probably another general meaning for a homer as well.
Sometimes his green glasses are simply ridiculous but he's amusing nonetheless.

Of course you were kidding.

I don't need a non biased guy.  I am not kidding I would much rather have someone from the Celtic Family than a former Cav.   

I like Tommy.  I take what he says with a grain of salt but he is like a crazy old uncle you love but says some wild things.     I seen Donny blow some calls.  He is captain obvious when it comes to basketball knowledge.   For him it's all about rythym and the like.  I don't think he is anything but an average analyst.   I would rather have Cedrix Maxwell in that spot in a heartbeat.   He is not as biased as Tommy.  He is knowledgeable and was a Celtic.
