but its not because of how good/bad the teams performing...

Its because of injuries... by the way what is up with our team and heart problems? Seriously what the hell... first jeff green, now wilcox...

Except wilcox is worse at this point... with JO done and now Wilcox, are frontcourt is depleted... it is now KG, bass, JJJ, and Steamer... if we thought we had front court problems last year with perk and shaq gone and having to use JO, then this is an absolute nightmare...

Expect DA to go all out for Kaman or something... I don't see a huge blowup happening at this point unless it nets us a really good big or something, but I could see us trying to grab someone like Kaman and trading pieces away for it or something like that.

Either way... this is a bad situation...

I don't see why Danny is definitely going to go all out.  If anything he'd get rid of Marquis or Moore and sign an extra big.

I highly doubt anything will happen before they get more information on JO and Wilcox.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I would really have no problem getting Kaman if it doesn't include the 3 and Rondo. It'll be a tough deal though as we need to match salaries.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

JO, Wilcox, Dooling, Marquis and the Clipper pick for Kaman works.

Is a mid to late 1st round pick worth salvaging this season? Absolutely.

I expect a small change but I dont think any of the big four will be involved.  We're just going to ride with the cap space

Not really especially if it's only for a short term. Maybe remove the pick and we have a deal.

New CBA draft picks very valuable. Just couple of days ago, Doc said 2012 draft class in one of the best group of the last 10-15 years. I can't imagine C's giving up draft pick for rental player. A salary dump big i.e DARKO MILICIC type more likely.

Kaman makes sense, get him for short term and if howard isn't happening resign him (if we can) guy is huge upgrade at center spot to anyone we've had
(scouting him now on reruns against minny)

Yeah since we didn't have a 5 for about 3 months now. I'd rather have KG play the 5 and Stiemsma replace him than spend any money on Kaman. If we need something, it's a good 4 to replace Bass. Unless Doc just wants to give up on this season and make JJJ practice coping with averaging 10 missed shots a game on the big stage.

How does it make sense to trade a pick for the short term? If you trade a pick to get Kaman, you better plan to have him around for a few years. Otherwise, you are just wasting resources. Ainge and Doc don't seem to have any interest in such a move. I assume Wyc is in agreement with them.

All Danny needs to do is trade J.O. Wilcox, Dooling, JJ & 1st rounder for Blatche & McGee. We'll be set for the future. During the off season we could sign one high priced free agent or even Jeff Green

Rondo/Bradley/Moore
Allen/Pietrus/Moore
Pierce/Green/Pietrus/Pavlovic
Bass/Blatche
Garnett/McGee/Steisma

p.s. I did this trade in 2K & I CAN'T LOSE!  ;D Rebounding is no longer a problem nor is shot blocking. Get'er Done!

My criteria for a good trade:

1 - Works in espn trade machine and results in positive change in wins
2 - Wins in NBA 2K

Btw, there is an easy way to out-rebound your opponent every night and it isn't by getting better rebounders. Just turn the ball over 30 times a night.

not for a draft pick, at least not first
jermaine's expiring and a 2nd rounder with throw ins of dooling, marquis whatever makes it work
kamen will be leaving new orleans as soon as he can
he also isn't that slow, much faster than oneil, he bangs, has a low post game and can rebound

What is aaron gray from toronto's contract like?  Is he an unrestricted FA?  They are so bad I think he'll be walking away from them if he can so might be a good trade to look at.  Not as talented as Kamen but he is a true center
