  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.

Gerald Green doesn't dunk unless he is 100% sure there are no monsters inside the hoop just waitin to geet him.

I think anybody that didnt know that Gerald could make some exciting plays and score points for a bad team while not really contributing to the team winning wasnt paying attention to what he was doing in boston.

Celtics need to sign this guy next year. Give Rondo another running partner in the backcourt.

and while we are it, let's add our good friend lester hudson to the mix.

29 minutes
26 points
4 rebounds
3 assists
2 steals

heck, that stat line was better than green.  ;D

edit - dang. i just saw a thread for lester. dang.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

When JR Giddens shows up on the Charlotte roster next year, you better get him on your fantasy teams!!

think doc screwed him up with his short leash, perhaps he could have developed quicker elsewhere .

Also doc should have played tony alot more, ticked him off and now he one of the more productive players in league elsewhere

Allen and Gerald and now examples of players have developed further elsewhere, far away from doc's minutes head games he plays with younger players

I still think doc is a fine coach, just think he could be a tad more supportive of younger players and play them instead of overplaying his older starters or your dooling/o'neal/daniels types who are washed up vets.

Part of the blame must go to ainge for signing some of these stiffs even though they are relatively inexpensive.

Were Celtics fans regretting the trade of Mark Blount when he went through a stretch of five games in January 2007 for Minnesota where he scored 21, 28, 16, 21, and 21 points while hitting double-digit rebounds twice?

I'm happy for Gerald.  I really hope he sticks around and finally turns himself into a legitimate NBA player.  Lord knows, he's always had the physical tools.

Who knows, maybe he'll even end up back in Celtic green some day.
