So, this is what it's like to not cringe when an undersized power forward takes a lot of jumpers.

I'm impressed by Bass. It ain't easy making those jumpers with a 7 footer, with his hand raised, running at you.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Terrible call by the refs Artest was warding Ray with his off arm the whole time.

Wow.  Ray never gets into foul trouble; the refs have been hard on him today

Then again, he's usually not as committed defensively as he is against the Lakers

World Peace uses his left hand for separation and they call a foul on Ray...

this game is like watching two heavyweight former champ boxers who are well past their prime (late 30s) but still have enough in the tank to beat up on each other.  You know that a young heavyweight would knock em out early, but it's still fun to watch the two has-beens go at it.

I don't see how you can take the Kobe stopper out of this game.

No Kobe stopper and you see what happens.

While Pierce and Bass are over 30 minutes already, Garnett has only played 23.  Is this a game where Doc should ride Garnett a bit harder and play him much more than his customary 30 minutes, or should the Celtics be committed to controlling KG's minutes rigidly like they have been doing all season?

They face another good frontcourt tomorrow.  I'd rather see KG take another breather here.
