While the refs are doing everything in their power to give all the calls to the Lakers, it shouldn't effect Pierce this much.  He's had a pretty forgetful game.

And can we please stay away from the Magic HIV talk?  This is a game thread, start your own topic on that stuff.

I absolutely hate how Ray runs a fast break. He never plans on going past the 3 pt line.

EVER...Like literally even on a 2-1 he doesnt go to be there for the lay-in

On offense, he has just stood in the quarter for most of the game. I know the guy hits big clutch shots, but the othe 40 minutes is becoming painful to watch most nights.

PS- Seems to happen the most when he guards Kobe. No energy to move on offense.

ugh! Where was the foul? This is starting to look a lot like game 7 of the finals with the parade to the free throw line

  • GOT IT!!!
I should have said the refs are a roller coaster ride. You don't know what you're going to get from them each quarter. Total 180 from the first half.

Nice block by Steamer. Poor blocking out for the other Celtics.

And Im going to go on record saying...

I DONT BELIEVE MAGIC JOHNSON HAS HIV/AIDS

I understand people get worse at different rates...but this guy has straight got fatter since his career has been over like every other athlete tends to.  He isnt keeping himself in THAT good of shape to beat that thing that others arent

See Greg Louganis.   Wealthy Americans who were diagnosed HIV positive later in the epidemic are often faring well in delaying (maybe preventing?) full-blown  AIDS.  It's ridiculous to suggest Magic isn't telling the truth.

I'll do my justice and look into the topic more before saying he isn't telling the truth again.

In that case, Im going to have a whole new issue to be mad at because lord knows in this new healthcare plan it'd be impossible for a peron like you or I to gain access to that anytime soon.

On the contrary, the new healthcare plan would likely increased access to bonafide treatments and protects against declining coverage due to pre-existing conditions.  But, back to the game.

yes, the new healthcare plan does, and yet half of americans hate it and think it's evil, go figure.

The new healthcare plan is, as planned, killing private insurance.  And, yes, 'death panel' rationing is coming in through an unelected board that will deem what treatments can be  prescribed by what doctors, now through medicare, at any time.  Enforcement will come in the form of financial penalties against doctors who provide too much expensive care to their patients.

Meanwhile we've got a close game.

20-8 FT advantage. Bynum living in the paint again.
Need to close this quarter out well.
