From what I see, that's not an ACL tear.  There was no contact though from what I saw either.

Could be a different tendon or meniscus.

clearly, I don't know what I am talking about.

ACL tears appearantly often happen when you land on your heels, as in a jump stop.

No way that is an offensive foul. If the contact is only outside the shoulders, that is not an offensive foul. This is the problem when people want there to be 'star calls' so they make up weird interpretations of rules to claim a bad call in favor of a player they don't like. There are rules that govern this stuff.

At first I though it was a bad flop by Rubio, but it seems like he hurt his knee planting it and that is why he fell to the floor. Still, you can't run in front of an offensive player and hope to slow him down with your shoulder. A smart offensive player will attack the outside of the shoulder of the defender to get a block call. I felt the replay didn't seem to show enough contact for a call, but Rubio falling makes it seem in real time like there was solid contact which would be a blocking foul based on where the contact is (Rondo gets calls like this all the time). Of course, he likely fell due to pain in his knee.

of course, Kobe using his left arm to push Rubio is a completely legal move. Great.

Sad to hear it's a confirmed ACL tear. Hopefully next year Ricky will start playing again at this level. So sad.

Dooling isnt a trade piece, and moore hasnt been showcased enough for the rest of the league to know he has talent.

People need to stop throwing Doolings name around like hes someone teams want, if it wasnt for the Celtics signing him, he wouldnt even be playing in this league still.
