Bucks Willing To Listen To Offers For Bogut

The Bucks are now willing to listen to trade offers they receive from rival teams in regards to Andrew Bogut, according to sources.

Sources say the Bucks will only entertain trades from teams willing to take back Stephen Jackson.

Bogut is likely to remain with the Bucks, however, because he is currently out with a fractured left ankle.

“The price (for Bogut) is high,” one interested suitor told ESPN.com this week.

The Wizards are among the teams most interested in Bogut, according to sources.

I know he has been pretty banged up and is out for the year, but when healthy is the 2nd best all around center in the league IMO. He is worth trading for next year and into the future and Jackson is a serviceable player.


Not sure we have the assets to pull it off. The best we can offer as far as young assets are Bass, JJJ,Bradley and picks.

Maybe Atlanta could send Smith to the Bucks for Bogut, they need a real center so they can move Horford to his natural PF position.

You don't take that kind of risk on Bogut and take on Steven Jackson unless the cost is close to nothing.

I don't think anyone should give up anything of significant value for Bogut until they have a better idea where his health is at.

I don't expect Milwaukee to get a good enough offer to tempt them into moving Bogut.

I disagree -- I think it's a win for Milwaukee and a bad risk for Washington to take.

I am not particularly fond of JaVale McGee but I think Scott Skiles would an absolutely brilliant teacher for him. I like that home a great deal for both player and club ... and I absolutely like taking a chance on McGee rather than on Bogut's health.

For Washington, McGee is too valuable to give up for Bogut given the uncertainty regarding his long term outlook health-wise.

I guess at some point doctors have to look at him and agree he is healthy enough to play in the NBA.  I skeptical as a Celtic fan , having been bitten by the old , sick and crippled of late. I'm looking for fresh legs for the future.

Ha, actually I didn't get a chance to see it. Was Lowry that bad?

Sometimes, when Houston isn't clicking, Lowry takes it upon himself to make them competitive, sometimes, that leads to super awesome blog entries and mucho gloating from me, and sometimes that leads to shooting 3-17 and 7 turnovers.

But I was saying it because of the CB Draft, Lowry's a binky.
