I've always felt that Ainge would say anything to get his "spin" out there.  Mention the alleged Red breakup story set the table for Ainge to break up the New Big 3 if he needed to. 

One thing I loved about Jackie Mackie's story about the original Big 3 was Parish's quote about his experience with Michael Jordan and the Chief closed out his career with the Bulls

In one of his first practices with the Bulls, Parish botched one of the plays and was amused to find Jordan jawing at him just inches from his face.

I would have liked to seen the Chief beat down MJ like he did to Laimbeer in the '86/'87 Conference Finals! One of the best articles I've read in a while...great job Jackie!!!
