Why it works is because everyone gets fair value for who they have given up. Portland get arguably the best pg in the game plus some good role players. Boston gets a fair compensation for the loss of rondo and keep the big 3 intact and finally Minnesota get there outside shooter and get rid of beasley to give more time to d-will, everyone wins!.
