It only just occurred to me that we're going to be hearing about "Where Will Peyton Go?" for the next 4-6 months.  Ugh.

I am torn with him coming to Washington.

To me, Peyton Manning represents what KG did when he came to BOS - a chance to compete. I think Manning could still have THAT effect on a franchise.

There is a reason why he (and KG and Pujols, as well as a few others) was on that Wheaties cereal box.

They are winners. They change franchises.

My biggest concern, though - is his health. One of the local writers here wrote a very good article about WAS taking a chance with him and the risks and possible rewards.

There was SO MUCH that that article brought to light....could WAS's offensive line adequately protect him? Could we get the team around him to compete? Many other questions.

I know I am ready for WAS to compete again, but I am not 100% sure WAS should take a chance with him.

Basically, for me it is either RGIII or Peyton. Either way, I am ready for WAS to compete again and my interest in the NFL to come back again.

If WAS goes with Peyton, I am full onboard, and I'll expect WAS to be in the playoffs next season - as I do with RGIII wearing burgundy and gold.

Considering how pricey the 2nd pick will be to acquire and the insufficiently high 1st rounder the fins have this season, signing him does seem a reasonable move depending upon cost. If Manning is healthy, he is a franchise changer.

Fins management is probably as fed up as their fans with their lack of QB success. Having Jake Long pretecting his blind side can't hurt his interest.

I think if the redskins know they wont have a chance at RGIII, Dan Snyder will throw every bag of money he can get his hands on at Peyton Manning, but I dont think it'll be enough.

I dont think Peyton will want to play in the same division as Eli.  My money is on him ending up in Kansas City, kinda like Joe Montana revisited.

I'm thinking Peyton wants control and talent on the offense. Houston seems perfect to me. There's not a QB on that team I wouldn't say goodbye to to have Manning there.

And with Danies, Foster and Johnson there, and their defense, manning could be dangerous there.

I'd welcome him to the Skins. his presence alone would turn them into playoff contenders.  I know it's be just 2-3 years at most of him on the team but I'd like to see it. 

however, someone else did raise a good point, he may not want to play in the same division as Eli.
