Fun game to watch if you have a severe heart condition and want to die.

A win is a win and against a playoff bound team no less. A win in Philly and the C's are in first place!!!!!!

I sustained a concussion, broken tooth, and broken wrist today...that count?  ;D

I like that we've got what it takes to win these kind of basketball games, even though we get seriously outrebounded. Imagine how it would have looked in the beginning of the season.

We just won against a playoff team in the west when we are the 7th seed in the weaker east.

Be happy, the rockets are the better team (record wise) you cant be mad about a win tonight.

I'm sure nobody is upset about it being close or anything like that. It was just way more difficult than it needed to be. The mistakes that were made in OT and late in the 4th were incredibly ridiculous.

Sherrod has never told me anything I did not know a week ago. I can't believe he gets paid for being an insider.

I just wish he'd fit his tweets in 140 characters.  He's got fat and lazy using sulia.

we may be dead meat for the 76's ...almost out of energy tonight,  will there be anything left in the tank at all?   ???

Jrue Holiday is a top point guard, that almost guarantees a big night from Rondo at least.

Rondo basically walked around the court all game tonight, im sure he will have the energy

I'm almost amazed that we didn't manage to give that one away. Definitely not how you want to finish.

On the other hand, 5 in a row, 1 game back in the Atlantic with a chance to take the lead tomorrow, by virtue of the tie-breaker if we win.

technically, not be virtue of tiebreaker -- we'd be 1 game up in the loss column and percentage points ahead.  Plus, we'd be 1 up on the Sixers head to head.  But, will be tough to win against a tough defensive team after an OT win and a late night flight.

Wow, another tough game coming up. Houston has done well here over the years and could end their losing streak tonight. This game will tell me a lot about the Celtics and how good is their competitive fire. We need to play like we want to be a winning basketball team that takes care of business on their home court. I think there is one more home game after this one against the Portland Trailblazers and then it is off to LALALAND this weekend [Sunday showcase against the Lakers followed by the Clippers Monday night, Golden State (a miserable place for Boston), Sacto (not a gimme), Denver, and three other stops]

Ok this is a

MUST WIN

Glad to have found out that we won  :)

I wish Boeing would let me off the hook once in a while to take in a game or two.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Need to find an answer for the rebounding. My heart can't take this. We are letting teams stay in the game by giving them way too many looks. You can play the best defense in the world; but if you are not going to rebound whats the point.

Thats because nobody on this team boxes out. Ever. I guess they are too old to box out? But Marcus Camby is old and is one of the top rebounders in the league, so I dont really know whats going on personally.

Basically i blame it on the entire team refusing to box out, I guess its too late to teach old dogs new tricks.
Is it this or is it because no one is attempting to rebound except KG, Wilcox, Bass and when he feels like it Rondo?

I'm sorry but as bad as the big guys have been at times at getting position and putting their butts on their guys, the SFs and SGs on this team have been as bad as I have ever scene at getting back and getting rebounds on defense. And because they are all shooting from outside and not taking it to the hole, none of them get offensive rebounds either, especially in Doc's, "don't go for the offensive rebound and get back on defense unless you are already right under the basket" philosophy of defense.

just finished watching the game on tape delay.  glad they won but this was a p----poor display of how a veteran team should close out a game.

Rondo's blown play at the end of regulation.  should have either dunked or, if he could hit FTs, just dribble out the clock.

KG with 2 missed FTs late in OT.

PP with an 8 second violation

At least they started to get more aggressive at the end of the game to get back in it and take control in OT.

Yeah to get outrebounded by 20 by a middle of the road rebounding team is pretty poor...Just digging a hole for yourself. Its not the defense.
