'Twas nearly identical to every other time the Celtics have beat the Knicks in recent history. They just never fail to cause us harm. Pierce alone has probably taken several months off my lifespan.

I think he does generally get some generous assists called at home. But as one of there posters said does 15 or 16 assists make that stat line or his game any less impressive?

Pierce always somehow tends to beat the knicks late in the game..

this win was almost as good(or just as good) as the last second pierce gamewinner last year against the knicks

Man do they ever have a jones for Pierce.  I laughed my head off, one dude posts that PP was great and enjoyed watching him. even if it twas the Celtics. I could see the screen smoking from all the comment of people wanting to kill the guy that posted that on their blog.

He was pretty horrible and doesn't have much of a history, but yeah, he will be just fine. We have plenty of fans here at cb that constantly throw Rondo under the bus and he has been contributing at a [nearly] elite level for years now...
