KG is averaging 21 points and 9.3 rebounds per game since coming out of the All-Star break..

I think he is really thriving playing the 5 instead of the 4, because he is faster than most any centers that they can put on him...kind of like how Amare Stoudemire put up some impressive numbers playing the 5 last year..

honestly IMO KG has been our most consistent player this year next to brandon bass...you know what you are going to get from him each night

You know why.... Hes being aggressive going to the basket!!! i hate when the team falls in love with the jump shot. The past three games (the first two especially) he hasnt been acting like a little girl and he has actually been attacking the basket with some good strong moves. Good for you KG keep it up!!

He is playing great, making great games on offense and defense.
To think that some stupid said earlier this season he was done, people do not understand, there was a long lockout, sometimes say stupid things.

Well now they talk, KG has made a sensational February, is a delight to continue watching him play.

It's been really great to see that KG is playing so well.  Definitely has a lot to do with the team playing well, too.

I do wonder how long it can last, though.  I think it's normal that a player like KG, at that age, will have stretches where he looks great, and then stretches where he looks cooked (he's looked both at times this season).  I also can't help but wonder if, as some have guessed, his extra intensity and determination to produce is a sign that he knows this is his last season.

I do not know if it's his last season, but he is to play at least two more years for sure.

this would be the last push from greatness to immortality on celtics lore...KG's trying to give his all, starting tonight against the knickerbockers

C takes less mobility so it's easier and he plays better but he does not like it.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
We really have played some bum teams though.
He's faced Lopez and then Cleveland with no Verajao and Milwaukee with no Bogut. I wouldn't get too excited.
Bass will have to handle Amare and Chandler will be coming after KG. Hopefully KG can outwit Chandler. Bass is going to have his hands full.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

It's true, though KG would never want to admit it (just read the front page).

I don't know, how long it can last. I would love to see him do it against some better competition. Let's not forget the stretch Pierce had before coming back down to earth with his games before and after the all-star break. The thing about taking jump shots and attacking the basket is jump shots take a lot less energy.
