Does this game make you more or less interested in the idea of building a team that can run around Rondo?

It's very easy to say that. Right now, Rondo is the best player on a team with three future HOF'ers. That's setting the bar high.

I could make a case for either.  I can say that it will probably get tiring to see people on this board overreact every time there is a stretch where the Celtics look sloppy, can't get a defensive stop, and turn the ball over a lot.  Even with personnel well-suited to more of a running game, we're probably going to see that often enough to drive me nuts.
"The worst thing that ever happened in sports was sports radio, and the internet is sports radio on steroids with lower IQs.” -- Brian Burke, former Toronto Maple Leafs senior adviser, at the 2013 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference

Doc Rivers needs to grow some balls and move Ray Allen to the bench.

We need to get our house in order on the offensive end in taking smart shots and stop trying to run with these guys. That means better recognition of the Knick s weaknesses. we missed out on the 50 50 balls. We could not rebound. We did not get calls. We need to play a lot harder on both ends of the chord.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

TP!!!

The guy has the flu and Doc sticks with him. Doc, do you want to win? Athletes always want to play and start. Do your job and manage this team.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
