Boston trades Rondo and Dooling

Receives Evans, Felton and Smith

Portland trades Felton, Smith, Batum and two 1sts

Receives Rondo

Sac trades Evans

Receives Batum, Dooling and two 1sts.

For Boston, they get a SG still on his rookie contract and extra cap space for next year.

For Portland, they get the starting PG they need.

For Sac, they move one of there near 20 point a game SGs for a good SF and two draft picks.

The trade also works if you replace Evans with Thornton, but I believe in that case at least one of the 1st Portland is trading (if not both) need to go to Boston.

Sacramento are not going to trade Tyreke Evans without getting a star back in return.

I think Portland is giving up too much for what they're getting.  Felton is a capable PG, not nearly Rondo's level.  Batum is a decent young SF with some upside. And they're kicking in 2 1st rounders.  Maybe one 1st.
If they do kick in 2 1sts, I 'd rather have one of those than Smith.

Depends on what they think of Batum who is averaging 18 points a game while shooting 47% as a starter (small sample)

It also really depends on what they think of jimmer.

If they think he can be there starting PG and thrive at it and that Batum can be a border line all-star. Then they have Jimmer,Thorton,Batum, and Cousins to form a young corse.

But I dont think they feel that good about jimmer, so this doesn't happen.

I think Thomas has already passed Jimmer as their PG.  He is now their starting PG.

I don't know if Portland would trade Felton and Batum straight up for Rondo.  They have overvalued Batum his whole career, and I don't see why they would stop now.

Felton and Batum for Rondo. I would do it, it even be nicer if we could get a 1st rounder this year also.
