I think the package that the lakers get for gasol compares well with what houston offered and suits there needs much better, especially when u consider that  boston also agrees to also pick up waltons contract.

Hinges on clips willingess to give up mo williams and bledsoe for ray, clearing of cap space for next year allowing them to make a run at a free agent could motivate them to move both.

The problem after this trade for the celtics is that we would have pietrus playing the two, although his superior rebounding would be welcomed at the position.
