I don't really know what to make of this. In one part I'm glad that there are still some athletes who value education first. On the other, for me it's this, if you're a top 5 consensus on every board, you should go.
I think another year in Kentucky might help his overall game. Finishing all four is not really a bad idea, but he has to be consistent because one slumping year could make him from lottery to mid first. But again much respect for Kidd-Gilchrist for choosing to stay in school and commit to be a degree holder. I think staying for all four years, when there are discussions that he can be a top 3 is kind of a "too good to pass" thing. Just me.
