However, if he's that much of a headache off the court or to the coaching staff and its something that is proving to be a detriment to the organization and irreparable, then I would endorse moving him.

I think Danny is doing due diligence and is shopping everyone and someone that wants Rondo but doesn't want to pay the high price is leaking info to Broussard saying things about the Celtics and Rondo in hopes of using that in negotiations.

I think Broussard is using this situation (Danny, like you say, doing his due dilligance around the trade deadline for a team that he's going to drastically reshape in 4 - 6 months anyways) to use all the crap he's been hearing whispered about Rondo by people around the Celtics organization and other organizations over the past year or so to build a storyline through grains of truth and conjecture.

I honestly don't have any idea what's going on behind the scenes there right now.

Yeah because separating your shoulder and coming back in the same game to lead your team to an important playoff win isn't the sign of being a warrior. Neither is averaging a near triple double for an entire 7 game playoff series.

Never been a fan of Broussard. Always thought of him as a hack.

I expect he is just reading between the lines on previous reports of Rondo's personality and exaggerating them in order to make a story.

Attitude can be fixed. Can be talked about. His game is there even with these attitudes. It'll be very interesting to see the Celtics without Rondo. I hate it, i don't want him traded unless on certain deals that involve Lowry and Curry (not straight up) but I'd really rather have him here.

It's ridiculous for me that they are trading him just because of attitude alone.

I thought last night's game was classic Rondo for where he's at right now.  He started the game off blowing by his guy at will - I think had 3 layups.  Didn't do it again till the middle of the 2nd half - even though he could have done it whenever he wanted to as the Bucks didn't have a shot blocker and none of their guards could stay with him. 

He played very well in the C's 3rd quarter run, then at the end nearly blew the game with a couple of lazy passes late and some HORRIBLE team defense.  It was obvious he had checked out with about 3:30 to go.  He's supposed to be your leader as a PG.  Instead he's the definition of a head case....

NBA coaches are paid very well to deal with those headaches.  If this is just a choice between Rondo and Doc, you go with the guy who can play the game like an all star.

NBA coaches are paid very well to deal with those headaches.  If this is just a choice between Rondo and Doc, you go with the guy who can play the game like an all star.

There's two ways to deal with that, one is Doc's way which has proven to produce with almost all of his players. The other is the Mike Brown way which kept the player happy as he ran the organization basically. You want the Celtics to cave to Rondo's immaturity? I'd rather trade him for value and stick with a proven coach then become the Cleveland Cavaliers during the Lebron years.

People can change to a degree; but by the same token you are who you are.  Rondo still shows lots of signs of immaturity.  The most recent examples:

He quit on the team after the Perkins trade.  In an interivew Doc slipped (or maybe it was on purpose) taking about how the team was not playing hard, and then he said something along the lines of "he" is not giving effort.  It was an obvious reference to Rondo.

Rondo nearly had is arm torn in half, and played through pain, with one arm,  in the Heat series.  If that is "quitting"...now you know why he has an attitude.

Gorman said last night there were 8 triple doubles in the league this year.  Our point guard has three of them.  

He has his bad days, yes, but the idea that Rondo doesn't care and has quit on this team is just not supported by the facts.
