It's a long but a must read. One of the best NBA related articles I've read recently. Truly excellent.

reading that article justified all of the dislike I have for Stephen Jackson.

The guy tried to make himself out to be some kind of victim who was constantly being prodded by the Piston players to fight, and then tries to justify going into the crowd as him 'standing up for his boy'

If you read what other people say about him and his actions it's completely different, hes the one that kept talking and wouldnt shut up, you can even see it on the video when you watch it. You can tell the man wanted to fight somebody no matter what.

Ive always hated him and am glad hes never found his way to the celtics bc I would hate to root for him

To me it's heartbreaking to read, how Artest's selfishness cost the Pacers a really good team, and how JO and others had to cut their ties to a town and a fanbase, that they loved, because of Artest's actions and inability to turn it around.

A long but worthwhile read.

JO's take was interesting, arguing self-defense.  He really, really could have killed that stupid guy on the court, and seems to have no appreciation of that.  A quick look at the tale of the tape would clearly indicate not so much of a threat that he couldn't have taken some other action besides attempting a roundhouse punch with his full weight and strength behind it.

JO is a thug, imo, right along with Jackson, Artest, and the rest.

Eh some random guy was coming on the court to hurt him and his teammates. If the guy doesn't wanna get hurt don't get on the court. It's kind of lime going to the zoo. If you don't wanna get eaten then don't go in the tiger cage.

After all the court dealings I'm sure Jo has no remorse for that guy. Clearly he hasn't gotten over artest asking fornthe trade and breaking up the team after all they sacrificed to help him.

Will read tomorrow. Interesting to me because I just watched the entire clip online like a week ago. Crazy scene for sure.
