...are KG and dare I say it, Avery Bradley?
Bass has been pretty consistent too, but he's missed the last 2 weeks or so.
KG has been on fire since missing a couple games due to personal reasons.
Bradley, he's a kid who doesn't put up stats, but he has an impact on the game (sometimes bad, but mostly good impact recently).
The more confidence Avery gets, the more dangerous he's going to be come.
I think one big problem with Rondo is that he is over confident...almost arrogant. Like he could be doing something much more worth while (to him) than talk with the media or what have you. It maybe true too, but the kid is a supposed star and he has to be professional. His angst won't wear too long in Boston, and before you know it the media will be writing negative stories about Rondo further increasing Rondo's negative demeanor.
Back to Bradley, this kid is gaining confidence each game and he is knocking down those outside shots now. And it also seems he's not afraid to get to the rim. (Ask Kevin Durant).
Look at both KG and Bradley's February splits:
KG is averaging 17/9 on 55% shooting. He's also decreased his turnovers by nearly half per game and shooting nearly 90% at the FT line while getting to the line the most he has all season.
Bradley's stats aren't going to light the world on fire, but he's shooting nearly 56% from the field and we all know that these shots include some mid range jumpers. They aren't all just layups etc.
Bradley's playing almost 4-5 minutes less this month of Feb. but he has increased his scoring by about half point per game.
I really like what we are getting from both these guys.
