Beasley could be the perfect trade.  Its simple... If JO needs surgery for his wrist then the team that gets him will be able to save $$$ with Ins.  That being said JO and 1st for Beasley.  Then give Roy a shot.

next year starting point could be if bith work out:
Rondo
Roy
J.Green
Beasley
FA or rookie Center

I understand after Rondo everyone are ifs but could be good start for the Future.

i rather sign julian wright for the min, better shot selection, better rebounder

i wouldn't want to pay beasley much more than the min, not sure he is entirely effective

I don't think you can trade for an injured player and then claim insurance when his injury turns out to be season ending. I might be wrong about that.

Roy? As in Brandon Roy?

Yeah, that's all we need. a 27 year old with 65 year old knees.

It'd be just like signing a walking corpse like Bill Walton.

Once again I did say ifs.  Roy is a huge IF.  I agree, but IF he has found a treatment (lightening in a bottle )that worked wouldnt it be worth a try for vet. min. If he doesnt work out he is gone.  I would rather give him a chance then have Sasha.  IMO opinion there are 3 players who I beleive will bring nothing this year and are a waste.  Sasha Daniels and Dooling. If you released any of those players to give Roy his shot back into the NBA, i do not think anyone would shead a tear.

If Roy could be an addition to the bench for next season, the Celtics would probably need third-string insurance behind him.  Pavlovic for the minimum strikes me as a reasonable choice for that role.
