Pierce told East teammates to foul Kobe because hed miss 1 FT. PP and KB had words while KB was at line. After KB miss 2nd, PP yells I toldu
I saw that, and it looked like they were still talking while Blake was at the line.

I love it!

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

As he should. The undisputed best player in the world shriveled up at the end of games.

This was, to me, one of the more entertaining all-star games in years.

Had a lot of fun watching it, some cool plays and in the end it was even a tight game! Loved it :)

  • Rondo = Good
All-Star game itself is the only proof that needs to be produced that the Dunk Contest is completely superfluous.  A ton of really exciting dunks by the best players in the world during that All-Star game.

I think a dunk contest with Blake Griffin, Lebron James, Dwight Howard, and Russell Westbrook would be fun, but, yeah, this weekend's collection of journeymen and role players battling it out for "best dunker who entered the competition" was pretty superfluous.

I don't feel too bad for Russell toasting us last week, especially after watching last night's game.

Russell Westbrooke is an absolute beast. His defense is just about there. All he needs to do is tighten up on making his teammates better, and I think he propels himself into top 4 PG status, if not higher.

1. CP3
2. Deron/Rondo/DRose??
3. Russell?

He's already (IMO) the most explosive PG out there.

I don't blame LA for wanting Rondo in a potential trade...they need Rondo to keep Russell from toasting them in a seven game series.

Kobe's still a great player and a very good defender, but he'd be done after game two unless LA makes a move.

All I can think of is LA potenially having to go through MEM (Conley, TA), and THEN OKC, depending upon how they are seeded.

That will be ugly for the Lakers.

I'm pretty sure Justin Beiber could have been MVP of that game if he'd wanted to

I feel like going onto youtube and posting "... this was better than the dunk contest." on every, single, video.
