Almost threw up when I saw this. Wish he was still here no matter how old he is, he's better than what we got.

They must be pretty desperate.  Troy Murphy and Rasheed Wallace as backup bigs.  Been there, done that.  No thanks.

I imagine Sheed had been working out, perhaps with the thought of rejoining the Celtics.  But now that the Celtics are clearly not a contender anymore, he decided to join up with another old team that still has a credible shot -- one for which he understandably has a great deal of respect.

Boy, Kobe's gonna LOVE IT when 'Sheed starts bricking a half-dozen 3-pointers every game.  Better put on your protective eyewear, this chemistry experiment stands a helluva good chance of blowing up.

I will say this -- if Sheed really does look "better than he has in years," I'm gonna be really annoyed.  If Sheed had been in really good shape during his time here, the result in '10 very well could have been different.

Boy, the Lakers are in for a disappointment.

Report: Kobe Bryant has already called a players' only meeting to discuss Rasheed's attitude and unwillingness to enter the post. Rasheed Wallace's response (submitted via representative), "Nah, I'm good."

Haha... I'll believe it when I see it.

It only became heightened by, according to league sources, a renewed conditioning regimen that apparently has him looking better than he has "in years."

MAybe Shaq would come out of retirement and help the Celtics.

He claims he is going to lose alot of weight in the next couple months.   ;D

I was coming in here to post the exact same thing. If he really does look drastically different and helps the Lakers in any way Im going to be upset. Did the Celtics look at him at all?

I reckon Sheed could still be a quality third stringer. He won't forget those defensive fundamentals or his jump-shot. In small doses, when used right, he could be a solid end of the bench weapon.

However, I can't imagine him playing a regular role for anyone. Lost too much quickness and mobility.

I'd prefer Sheed over Stiemer and/or Sasha.

Good for Sheed - but what in the world has happened to Josh McRoberts, here?

Has the guy fallen off the earth?

He was a solid backup/starter for Indy last year..a guy I wouldn't mind seeing in Green...

What in the world is going on in Laker land?

I completely forgot Sasha Pavlovic  was a Celtic.
